Platform policies
These rules explain the conduct expected across Away Path and the proportionate actions that may be taken to protect travelers, Local Buddies, licensed guides, partners, sellers, and the platform.
Every user is responsible for accurate information, lawful conduct, and respectful communication.
Do not impersonate another person, submit forged documents, hide material listing facts, or publish misleading service, price, location, ownership, or availability information.
Threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, trafficking, violence, dangerous instructions, stalking, or pressure to leave protected platform workflows are prohibited.
Payment fraud, chargeback abuse, stolen payment instruments, fake sponsorship evidence, scams, and attempts to bypass required platform controls are prohibited.
Away Path uses evidence, severity, repetition, and immediate safety risk when deciding an action.
Listings, profile text, messages, or photos may be hidden or removed when they violate these rules, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.
Away Path may warn a user, restrict a feature, pause a profile or listing, revoke verification, or suspend an account while a safety, identity, payment, or moderation review is open.
Serious or repeated violations, fraud, identity abuse, child-safety risk, violence, evasion of a prior suspension, or unlawful activity may result in permanent access removal.
Administrative actions should record the actor, target, time, reason, and available evidence. Payment never purchases approval or bypasses identity and safety checks.
Where safety and law permit, the affected user may provide additional information or request a review through the support center.
Sensitive documents remain access-controlled. Evidence may be retained when required for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal duties, or an active appeal.
